High Protein Pancakes
These easy to prepare protein-packed pancakes are a great way to sneak in some added nutrition into your kid’s breakfast! Each serving is an excellent source of fiber too!
Servings: 2 (5, 4” pancakes, 2.5 pancakes per serving)
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 banana, peeled
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp low sodium baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp neutral oil (canola oil, olive oil, avocado oil etc.)
- 1/4 cup 1% milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 serving (70g) Orgain Perfect Meal Powder – Vanilla
Instructions
- In a small blender, combine all ingredients and blend until well combined.
- Heat a skillet or griddle to low-medium and spray with cooking spray. Once the skillet or griddle is warm, use a ¼ cup measuring cup to pour the batter into circles.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side and then flip.
- Repeat with the remaining batter and enjoy!
