Gallstones, Deficiencies, & Hair Loss - Oh My! Managing the Nutrition Challenges of Weight Loss | Orgain Healthcare Professional Education Series
While weight loss leads to many health benefits, it also comes with the risk of nutrition complications. These risks can be related to physiological changes in the body, inadequate nutrient intake, or specific treatments such as pharmacotherapy and bariatric surgery. Dietitians and other health care professionals must be able to manage these nutrition complications to ensure healthy outcomes for patients on weight loss journeys. In this session, we’ll review the spectrum of obesity treatments and management strategies for nutrition complications.
