Old school "mental toughness" was all about gritting the teeth and pushing through no matter what. As a result, it’s typically a term reserved for use in sports and the military, with no application to the everyday person. However, recent research has revealed a new concept called functional mental toughness (fMT). In this program, we will introduce the fMT model and take a deeper – extremely practical – dive into how to use it with your clients to improve their outcomes across a range of pursuits.
