Urban Legends in Bariatric Nutrition | Orgain Healthcare Professional Education Series Archive
No matter your area of practice, you likely encounter patients who have had bariatric surgery. While this treatment has greatly evolved over time, bariatric nutrition research has been lacking in some areas leaving room for urban legends. In some cases, protocols are passed from one generation of clinicians to the next with limited evidence for their support. It’s time to investigate the evidence backing our bariatric nutrition recommendations. Join us for a myth-debunking session and challenge your perceptions regarding best practices for optimizing patient care.
