Recovery nutrition has gained popularity and so have many popular fad diets touted to help athletes recover. This presentation will sift through the science and sensationalism so you can provide your athletes with tangible tips to help them stay healthy and performing strong all season long.

Sports Nutrition + Performance Expert

Becca McConville, MS, RD, LDN, CSSD, CEDRD-S, is an Academy of Nutrition board certified sports specialist. She also is an International Association of Eating Disorder Professional-approved eating disorder dietitian supervisor. She received her master’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Kansas where she also completed her dietetic internship. In addition to Becca’s private practice, she has served as a consultant to the University of Missouri Kansas City Athletics, Kansas City Ballet, local colleges and previously worked with the Kansas City Chiefs. Becca has served as adjunct faculty member, teaching sports nutrition to various universities. Becca received the Kansas City Dietetic Associate Outstanding Young Dietitian Award and Missouri Valley College Outstanding Alumni in 2020.
